常用的频度副词按频率大小从高到低的排列顺序是:always(总是)>almost(几乎是)>usually(通常)>often(经常)>sometimes(有时)>seldom(很少)>hardly(几乎不) >never(从不)。

  She is sometimes very busy.

I will never forget the first time I met you.

  We often go there.

I know I should take exercise, but I never do.

  Sometimes she writes to me.

  She writes to me often.

  。

We have never been invited to one of their parties.

She must sometimes have wanted to run away.

  She always is late.

  ―Philip is late again.

  ―Yes, he always is.

―Can you park your car near the shops?

  ―Yes. I usually can.

The sun always rises in the east and sets in the west.

I like English very much. I will always work hard at it.

When he was a child he was always trying out new ideas.

She is always thinking of how she can do more for people.

He was always asking for money.

As a boy, he was always making trouble.

She is always asking for leave.

Jack has always been interested in Chinese food.

The rich are not always happy.

I do not always believe what he says.

  I almost dropped the plate.

Almost all the guests are here.

  Dinner is almost ready.

He usually goes to bed at ten o’clock.

It’s more than usually crowded today.

Mary often weeps when she is alone.

He is often late for school.

Very often you cannot know one without knowing the other.

He doesn’t go to London very often.

It is sometimes hot and sometimes cold.

Sometimes he goes to the library after supper.

  His father is seldom ill.

  Lily seldom reads newspapers.

We seldom have noodles for supper.

Seldom have I met her in the street.

We must work hard at English.

Hardly did I arrive at the railway station when the train started.

He can hardly understand it, can he?

I have never seen anything so beautiful.

Never have I eaten such a big banana.

针对always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, hardly, never这些频度副词提问时,用how often。例如:

I write to my brother sometimes.

How often do you write to your brother?

  They always give me encouragement.

How often do they give you encouragement?
